1999 Hyundai Elantra 4 cyl Automatic 160000 miles

my man had my car out late on a very cold night, went to start it to come home and nothing, starter went rrwiiiiii, thought maybe was to cold for it, so held the peddle to the floor and it started, for about 2 mins, then, nothing, not even the dash lights, radio, nothing, could not even turn on accessory and couldnt put in N to tow it, had to pop the safety switch to put it in N. found the ignition fuse and we changed that, now we have all dash and accessory, but now we are back at rrwiii sound , nothing catching, battery great, all other fuse's seem to be getting power, we looking into fuel system, the relay and fuel pump itself, but within looking at the Hyanes book for my car they talk very briefly and a fuel fuse? but cant find one on this car? any ideals?

Are you getting spark and fuel to the engine? Here is a how to for checking both.

Check both and let me know what you find. Also, I believe the Haynes book is refering to the fuel pump fuse. If you have an owner's manual, it should identify where it is located.

As far as the tools needed to complete the tests, most parts store will lend or rent them.

Let me know what you find.
