periodicly I have had to jiggle the key after the car started to get the headlights and wipers to work,
now the car will not start. When I insert the key the chime, domelight, and brake lights work but I get nothing from the engine no clicking nothing and none of the instriment lights (oil, battery symbol)
will light. I had the battery tested and it is ok, should I replace the ignition switch and how difficult is it?

Hi Bob,

Yes, the ignition switch is bad and nees to be replaced.

You need to remove the steering column cover to get at the ignition switch. Not really difficult to replace but remember to disconnect the battery terminals first.
