2002 Hyundai Accent 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

i blew the engine in my accent, due to head gasket failure. I am trying to find the engine code so I can find a new one and/or a better one. Someone told me that they cross between mitsubishi 4g63's. Is this correct?

I dont think so !
But I know the junk yards have all the reference that you need and they should be able to tell you if that was correct or not
call your local used auto part store (junk yard)
