Brakes problem
2001 Hyundai Accent 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 130,00 miles
i changed my brake shoe. now my main concern is the brake line. once i got everything back and pressed the pedal to make sure that its all working. my ebrake line was very tight i could not pull it up. when i forced it up i felt something snapped. i do not know how to fix my line. do i have to replace the whole thing of maybe just the line from the ebrake area. please give me a feed back.

Hi iglesia75,
Most probably the park brake cable had been adjusted incorrectly before replacement of the brake shoes. Remember to adjust the brake correctly before attempting cable adjustment.

If cable is broken you need to check which one as left and right has different cable.
Recheck the brake shoes cable installation, it could have been dislodged when not correctly installed.
