I recently got in my car, cranked it, and tried to put it in gear, when, lo and behold, I noticed the gearshift could be moved in a complete circle (as if you were calibrating a computer joystick). In other words, the gear shift does not "slide" into gear. The car runs fine and the clutch is still intact, but I'm not quite sure what is wrong it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
