My little car has had this problem for a few months and it seems to have gotten worse. It runs fine, but when at idle, like when at a light, it will die with no notice or warning. there's no engine light or any other warning lights as well. My neighbor is a mechanic and thinks it is the coil or the relays. I'm not sure myself.

When it dies, at first it would start back up if you let it set for a minute or so. But now it takes a conciderable amount of time before it will run again. The only way I've found to keep it running is to put one foot on the gas, and one on the brake when at a light or for any other reason I'd have to stop for.

I'd like to get it fixed, but don't really have the money to take it for an inspection, but my neighbor is going to help me fix it if I can find out for sure what it is.

Hi Kira-Kun,

Seems like the idling system is not working right.
Tell your neighbour to clean up the throttle body and IAC and most probably the problem is resolved. A can of carb cleaner should do the job.
