a smart question, that all depends on how hard you are driving it, if you been out on the freeway, and you get off like to take a break, I suggest you leave it idling for 10 minutes, and hopefully you're running the right oil in that engine, if you are just driving around town it is not necessary to cool down the turbo, unless of course you're trying to race me.
