How to reset the anti-theft system?

My vehicle won't start. Security display with key appears. Doors will lock/unlock, all other electrical systems work, just won't start. Is there a sequence of actions that I can do to reset this?

Yep, close the door and roll the windows up, then lock the doors with the remote or key, allow the car to sit for about 2 hours, then unlock the car using the remote or driver's door key this should reset the system.
