How to open my RSX stuck hood?

The last Saturday I replaced my RSX-S 2003 radiator. In order to do it I had to remove the hood lock mechanism. After the work was done I shut the hood and took the car for a short run to see everything is working right.

well. I arrived home and tried to open the hood again to check the coolant level, etc. I pulled the latch but the hood didn't open and there was little to no tension on it.

I have not been able to reach the cable or the spring in the mechanism to get the hood open.

I don't think the cable is broken, may be it is loose.

How to open my car hood?

I am very handy (I have done almost all the services of my vehicles. From motorcycles to super-duty trucks), and I have lot of tools available. Cant believe that this stuck hood got me owned!

Should I go to a body shop or a mechanic?

You may get this from the bottom with a long screwdriver, etc. you might remove a shield form fascia/bumper and get to it. that is about all I can tell you . but try pushing down on hood then have an assistant pull cable it may be just out of adjustment. This guide can help as well
