Cable is broken on drivers side to unlock hood. Passenger side unlocks just fine but drivers side will not release. How do I get the drivers side to unlock and replace pull rod?

That can be tough did you try pushing down on the left side just over the latch and then have someone pull the release? Other than that you will nee to get the car on a lift and see if you can get to the latch with a long screw driver. Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

You will need some help most likely to get this to work but you need to pull the release and hold it out. Then you need go to both sides of the hood and shake it up and down to get the latch to release. This is assuming that the latch is not releasing and the cable is not actually broken. Meaning the cable is not working or do you mean the cable is physically broken?

Here are the part numbers for the latch so when we get it open the latch that is sticking will need to be replaced. You can possibly lubricate it and as long as you keep them lubricated it should be fine.

Here is a guide that should help you or others that visit the site:

Let us know this info and we can go from there.
