I own a 1989 prelude. I have owned it for 4 years now. Previously I have owned a 1985 prelude. I think these cars will last forever. Very reliable. However I have a problem that occured with my 85 and now my 89. Everytime it rains my trunk gets wet and then it starts to soak up the back seat. Can Anyone tell me where the water is getting in from? A few people told me that the water is commming in from the sunroof, but if thats the case, why isnt my sunroof leaking?
Please help!

You must go water hunting. Get a friend that you trust, and have them lock you in the trunck (might be a good idea to have the back seat removed). Oh, and have a flash light. Your friend is to make it rain with a water hose. Dont shoot hard water directly on the seal, but spary the car as if it were raining. Look for the leak on the trunk seal. If it stays dry, then look at the back window seal. I have seen the rear window seal leak, and if you take it to a glass company, they can remove the glass, clean it, and reinstall with a new seal. Problem solved.
If its not the trunk or rear window, look at the sunroof and side windows. Sometimes water can get in a channel and run a long way before it shows its head.
Good luck and post the fix when you find it.
