I dont think you can adjust it. I know I can't on the two CRV's I own. Honda uses little 6 mm screws to secure the tps to the throttle assembly that twist off and present a rounded looking device holding the thing on. You can use a small chisel and hammer and unscrew these screws but you do not have an elongated hole in the tps to adjust. If the tps is malfunctioning, you have to buy a whole new throttle assembly just to get the tps. Honda does not sell it separately. I'll do some more research Monday on All Data and see if my memory is correct.

Thanks you so much for the help this far. i was sure there was some way too do it. my idle problem might also be the fast idle valve as well. because it bounces from 1000 rpm to about 1500 rpm. i have a new idle air control. i have know vacuum leaks. pleny of coolant with know air. so now its either the egr map or tps. or fast idle valve. but i bet money its the fast idle valve sticking. but thanks for the help again.

Hi,

Is your idle speed an issue when your car is cold or hot? Or both? I recently had the same issue. The car just started idling up and down when she was cold. Once she warmed up she was ok but still a little jerky. I replaced the idle air control valve but this did not make much difference and also looked at trying to adjust the fast idle valve but it was a bit of a nightmare so purchased a new fast idle and runs like a dream now and is much better on petrol (gas to you).

Hope this helps

Mike
