Hello, I have a '90 Prelude SI. My battery light keeps coming on , then my windows, wipers , radio, and eventually the car itself, winds down then stops working. I just replaced the battery, as the cylinders were empty, I thought this was the problem.. I cleaned the posts, that seemed to work for a day, the new battery worked for a day, now Im having the same problem again. What would be making this happen, i know the alternator is an option, but could it be something else???

It should still be the alternator. Even a test will show that it is charging and the rate of the charge could be correct or on the high end. The problem usually is that it does not know when to stop charging and overcharges the battery. This will basically boil out the liquid in the cells causing the battery to fail.
