every time I turn on my air conditioner and drive, then let go of the gas without touching the brake yet, the rpm drop down and engine stalled in the middle of driving..is that a major issue..

It is a major issue you can cause an accident.

Could be caused by an idle up solenoid that's failing not raising the idle speed while the AC clutch is engaged to compensate for the additional load. Could also be the IACV.
