Hello, I recently tried to start my car and it would simply not turn on ( made clicking noise). I tried jumping the car and it finally worked. I then took it to advance who said I needed a new battery. After installing a new battery 4 hours later the car did the same thing ( lights would work but car would not start with clicking sound). I took it back to advance who then said it was the starter. After installed the new starter the same problem was occurring. It almost sounds like the car shorts when I turn the ignition because the lights work but when i turn the key i hear a click and everything turns off for a couple of sec. The car still works when jumped. Anyone know what the problem could be? Answers are much appreciated!

The battery is weak, that's why when you tried to start the engine the starter make clicking noise. Your car's electrical system may have a parasitic current draw. Have a mechanic check for parasitic current draw. It should not have more than 50 milliamps.
