Engine Performance problem
1998 Honda Prelude 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 155000 miles
my car has a couple of problems that i think are related, when coming off idle my cloud smokes(white) for a bit, it burns oil quickly about 2-3 qts every 1-2 months, my egr gets clogged with deposites i think it may be my valve guides but i dont want to guess. Can you guys help me on finding what it could be and how i could fix it?

Hi marco650,
Not the valve guides but more likely to be the valve seals causing the problem.
