1997 Honda Prelude not starting

ok battery died and was replaced. still nothing, wont crank at all. removed and tested starter, tested poor. replaced. disabled alarm and now it cranks but wont fire. tested all fuses in both box's, ok. tested coil,ok. tested dist. cap and rotor button, ok. all four plug wires test good at plug end. and all plugs were re-gaped and replaced. replaced fuel filter. fuel pump turns on with key,audible. and i smell fuel at engine when cranking checked for fuel leaks,none. compression is good in all cylinders. what am i missing can anyone think of anything else please i feel at a loss here can anyone shed some light maybe i overlooked something. the scanner cant read the computer until i get it started. so I've got nothing else

Hi ghall,

Did you test if any sparks were present while cranking the engine?

Do you have battery voltage at the distributor Black/Yellow wire at ignition switch ON and while cranking?
