Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Honda Prelude 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

My 1995 honda prelude will not start. It turns over (really slow) but wont fire up.I've replaced the alternator, battery and cables and had the starter tested. And it still wont start! What is causing it not to start?

Hi loose,

If the starter is turning too slow, it would not be able to start the engine. Possible causes for slow cranking speed are
1. Weak battery.
2. Bad starter.
3. Bad battery cable connections. Check the ground wire at the transmission and battery terminal connections.
4. Faulty ignition switch.
