My clutch has been unpredictable, some time slips other times not at all. Replaced the following new clutch preassure plate throw out bearing (GRIPFORCE STAGE 1KIT) CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER, have a new clutch master cylinder to be installed. Does the clutch joint (33647 012 1 JOINT, CLUTCH HOSE 31.42 21.99 ) section have a check ball or equivelent to maitain fluid preasure to the clutch? I experianced the clutch working properly then like the clutch was slipping on its last turn reving to 5,000RPM and barely moving. Is the problem the clutch master cylinder or the hose joint? Thanks for the response.

Hi klpruett,

Either the clutch pressure plate is faulty or the master cylinder is not releasing the slave cylinder.

If clutch pedal gets higher and higher after some driving, check the master cylinder push rod to pedal clearance. Insufficient clearance would cause the clutch to self apply when the fluid heats up.
