1990 Honda Prelude alternator

How do you get the adjusting bolt out at botton on left side is alternator looks like adjusting bolt is screwed into alternator bolt what to do how do you do it get it out or does the alternator bolt at botton just screw out, need picture or do you need to unscrew the adjusting bolt, it looks like adjusting bolt is screwed in to alternator bolt. How do I get out the alternator. I always wait to see if anwser help befpre I donate. Thanks Richard I have donated twice, I donate 5.00 now how do I get the alternator bolt out. I have the alternator through bolt ready to come out. Its two blolts on botton that wont come out alternator adjustment bolt and alternator bolt how do I get them out help thanks Richard alt bolt and adjusting look like same bolt correct me if not right bolts

Hi,

Thank you for the donation.

The alternator adjusting bracket is held by a nut ( 12 mm hex) under the alternator pulley. After removal of nut, release the tension of the belting by turning the 10 mm adjusting bolt anticlockwise.

Remove belt and release the adjusting bolt bracket from stud.

For easier removal of alternator, dismount power steering pump and remove bracket.
