1989 Honda Prelude clutch

when i push the clutch down to start my car, its fine but, when i put in reverse or in first gear the car shakes and has this strange scratching sound. then jumps a little. what could be this problem??

and before this happened i was driving down the highway in 5th and when i pushed on the gas and let off the gas it jerked really bad??
