After about 1/2 hour of fine running, the engine bucks and runs terribly. It stalls if I take my foot off the accelerator, but it starts up again very easily, but keeps running rough and bucking. If I let it sit for a few hours, the same symptoms appear.

Engine running rough or misfiring can be cause by the following:

1. Defective spark plug
2. Inadequate spark/coil, defective spark plug wire.
3. Lack of compression
4. False air leakage.
5. Faulty fuel injectors.
6. Insufficient fuel pressure.
7. Contaminated fuel.
8. EGR valve that is leaking.
9. Oxygen sensors.
10. Throttle position sensor.
11. Idle air control valve.

Tried all those things. I think I need a carburetor overhaul. I garaged this car for 26 years, and it still looks like new. My wife had a hard time driving a stick shift, so she bought an automatic Corolla (nice car). That meant I had to park my Prelude in the driveway. In two months being parked outdoors, the appearance of the car was worse than the 26 years in the garage!
