2000 Honda Other Repair Question

2000 hondic civiv 75000 miler 5 spd It wont start
Honda wont start its totally dead.
fuel good
battery good fuel pump good.
I will disconect the battery and then reconected a few minutes later and it will start.
Is the battery diconection resetting something?
Please ideas :?:

Or is the resetting making a connection better. Check the cable ends and grounding. After that follow the positive cable to the starter and check the connections there. There is every possibility that your starter has failed.
