I have a 1998 Honda Logo automatic. It has recently started on occassions to shdder when I take off from a standing stop. If I take off very slow the problem does not happen.
I am wondering if this is a transmision problem or the fact that my rear brake shoes need replacing...many thanks.

Hi Paul,

I do not have much info for this model but I believe it uses a CVT tranbsmission and the shuddering during take off are usually caused by transmission fluid.

Either the fluid is due for replacemenrt or you have used the wrong type if it had been replaced.
