If the timing belt on my odyssey breaks will it bend the valves?

Hi eelvisk,

Yes, this is an interference engine and would cause engine damage if the timing belt breaks.

Recommended replacement period is at 105 k miles or 84 months for normal usage.

If driven under extreme conditions most of the time, eg over 110 degrees F or under - 20 degrees F, recommended period is 60 k miles.
