I have recently had problems with the car not turning over because of low power issues. Have already had the car jumped a few times (3) and yesterday morning had to have it jumped again. Before I had it jumped, I decided to take the battery completely out of the vehicle to take it to a car parts store. I noticed that the positive terminal was loose and I barely had to put any effort to turn the screw that tightens/loosens the terminal (the screw on the negative terminal took little effort as well). I figured that was my problem so I put the battery back in and tightened the negative terminal. Unfortunately I was unable to fully tighten the positive terminal to prevent it from falling off of the battery with a slight nudge. AAA came out and jumped the battery for me but I had forgotten to secure the battery with the bar that keeps it secure. The car was running while I was attempting to secure the bar when I accidentally nudged the positive terminal off of the battery. I attemped 2 times to slide the terminal back onto the battery and heard little sparks and remembered that sparks near a battery while the car is running is quite dangerous. I then turned the vehicle off, secured the terminal onto the battery and then turned the vehicle back on. Now, the ABS and the TCS (Traction Control System) lights are on, the car is riding rough and is not accelerating properly, and the Airbag light is occasionally flashing. Any idea as to what is going on and what I can do to fix it?
