My engine has started revving and will not go all the way down when idling. It does this at stop points and when the engine is in neutral.

Hi Bishop Liam,
The idling speed is out of specs and possible causes are :
1. Faulty Idle Air Control ( IAC) valve. Is the Check Engine Light showing when driving?
2. Vacumn leakages. Check for dislodged vacumn hoses, faulty PCV and leaking brake power booster hoses.
3. Insufficient coolant in radiator.
4. Idle Adjust screw out of adjustment.
