My car will die randomly, at any speed, used to start right back up, but has become increasingly harder to start, after dying???

Hi malabarstar,
Either
1 Ignition switch or
2. PGM-FI relay is faulty.
I would suggest checking the main relay first. If visual inspection of the relay circuit board reveals cracks at soldered joints, you can resolder them and the relay shoud be reuseable.
For ignition switch, when the engine stalls, the dash lights most probably won't be showing.
