The Malfunction Indicator Lamp went on after I changed engine oil, oil filter, and coolant by myself and drove for 10 miles. The operation manuel says it's could be causing by the emission control system and will damage engine if continuously driving. The dealer quote me $1100 to fix it.

Please kindly provide advice to fix this problem or recommend a reliable shop near in Roseville, California.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi andylyucoherent,

You need a scan done to find out what is causing the problem. Please provide the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) so that we can advise on what to look out for.

Since you replaced the filters, I would suggest you check the O2 sensor wires, it could have been dislodged while you were removing/installing the oil filter.
