Considering the age of my vehicle, (1996) and the miles, (225k) is it worth replacing the timing belt again? My Odyssey is a real "GEM" and she is running beautifully, she only has a leaky sunroof. So it's really hard for me to decide whether or not to invest the money in the repairs. Actually, the garage just called and said that I also need to consider replacing the distributor cap because it is leaking oil and the air filter needs to be replaced.

thanks

Hi Gracie225k,

If you have no intention of changing another car, why not? The engine is going to last you a while more.
Honda engines are very durable as long as you keep the oil change regular and with an eye on the temperature, the engine would not fail you.

Replacing the distributor cap is not going to solve the oil leak, you need to replace to shaft seal inside the distributor and the O ring outside.
