I had a similar problem. Checl the latge ribber O ring on the base od the distributer. My leak was actually from the distributer. The rubber O ring at the base had hardened. Ir is simple to replace. Don't forget to mark a reference point for your distributer before you loosen it so that you install it in the same position. A small scratch mark will do. And check your rotor position so you are not 180 degrees off. Other than that, check your rocker cover. The bolts could have loosened or your gasket could be bad. Be careful not to over tighten them. Another source could be a loosened oil pan.

check the o-ring behind the oil cooler which is right behind the oil filter. Also the large (30mm) nut needs to be at 65 ft/lbs. The oil cooler itself is soldered togther so if some of the loints are weak, oil will leak. ($300 for new oil cooler)
