Hi guys,

I have a '91 Honda Crx mk2, shes the 1.5 carbie version (d15? Something).

I want to whip the engine out and put in a B18C 1.8 vtec. What parts do I have to change on my car to take the new engine, fuel lines? Tank? Engine loom etc.

I guess I will need to swap my instrument panel too, so I get the injection check engine light.

can you guys help with a full list?

cheers bro
Derek

Hi Derek

1. Engine mounting points and design are different. D15 engine and trans hangs, B18C sits on their mounts.
2. Manual to auto would be a big problem, not enough space for trans.
3. Fuel lines, filter, tank, electricals for fuel pump.
4. Wire harness from engine to ECM, fuse boxes and meters.
5. Brakes, driveshafts etc for drive trains.
