1989 Honda CRX CRX does not start

My Crx died today on the highway, just lost power. Lots of fuel, plenty spark, I dont really know much else. It turns over but doesnt start. Nothing seems to be unplugged from the engine. All the fuse's are fine, could it be the fuel pump? It makes the same winding up sound before I turn it over but doesnt start. Any ideas? Help is greatly appretiated.

Check the fuel pressure if it's within specs to rule out the fuel filter and fuel pump.

Ok I just checked out the fuel system and everthing it in good order, but now im not getting any spark. Its not the plug wires, still turns over but not any spark.
