i have 86 civic crx, it has a new engine but will only run if i hold my hand over the back barrel on the carburetor. the moment i remove my hand it shuts off. what is going on with it? if i spray carburetor cleaner around the bottom of the carb it revs up do i need a new carb or mounting gasket? or do i just need to junk the engine?
