1985 Honda CRX skipping at 3750 rpms
Engine Performance problem
1985 Honda CRX 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 181000 miles
I have a custom 85 crx I just got done building and when I get near the top of second gear around 3750 it skips and has no power. This goes on in to third gear until you back out of the throttle. What do you think could be the problem?

Engine misfiring can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.
