1985 Honda CRX Car won't start

Car won't start unless I put gas in top of carb. Carb was professionally rebuilt changed bothh fuel filters, fuel pump, tried to run hose to small gas tank still no start. It has gas pumping to carb but wont start unless I put gas in carb and then will die once gas is gone.

Its been a while since ive seen one
Check for power at the shut off solenoid at the side of the carb.

Check the mixture control solenoid and also Check your fuel pressure with a gauge if okay the carb was not professionall rebuilt

Well thats new to me. I will check those tomorrow and report. I read online that you can remove that valve is that true or do I need to fix it?
