I'm having steering noise issues with my 2005 AWD CR-V with 50k miles. There is a steering noise when making tight turns left or right at very low speeds both forward and reverse. Sounds like a tire rubbing Checked PS fluid and it is full. Took mine to the honda dealer today and he told me they had to change all the fluids costing €340, but could not guarantee it would fix the problem but that it would mean it was done and if the problem was still there it would cost me more money to find out what the problem is. Anybody else have this issue.

Hi kck_747

What you are experiencing should be from the rear differentials.

There was a Technical Service Bulletin on this and you should contact the nearest Honda dealer to verify if you are entitled to a warranty on the case.

Likewise, an oil change of the rear axle differential might solve the problem. You should ONLY use the specified Honda DPSP trans fluid.
