2005 Honda CRV motor oil

You didn't provide any details on what the performance problem is or the mileage of your car.

I use Mobil Clean 5000 in my wife's 2005 CR-V EX with 65000 miles on it. Mobil makes the Honda branded oil sold at the dealerships. I have also used Castrol Syntec Blend in both the CR-V and Odyssey with no problems. You should use 5W-20. However, you can also use Mobil 0W-20.
