2003 Honda CRV Engine Turn off automically

Engine Performance problem
2003 Honda CRV 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 50K km miles

When I was reversing my Honda CRV 2.0 the engine automatically turn off. (This happened some times)

When the car pick up to higher gear I could see the lamp of the malfunction indicator on for around 0.2 second.

Would appreciate your answer on my questions.

Hi nikeair,

I would suggest starting with retrieving for trouble codes.

Get a free scandone at autozone and let me know the exact trouble code if any found.

When the engine stalled, was it easy to restart?
What is the idling speed?
Does it occur only when engine is at operating temp?
