I've got a 2001 Honda CR-V. 2.0 Liter 4 cyl. DOHC engine. Three weeks ago, it began giving me a hard time, almost exclusively in the morning. It will start (battery good, starter good, engine begins to fire) but immediately runs rough and stalls. I have been able to keep it running by hitting the gas and taking it up to about 3000 rpm (at which point it smooths out). Sometimes this seems to be all it needs to set it straight. Other times, it will start to miss when I let it back down to idle. However, when I do get it running, it's been fine for the rest of the day. I can drive all over, shut it off, start it up, etc. and it all runs and starts like normal. Also, for the past week, it's been 100% normal. Until two days ago. Hadn't driven it all day Wednesday (so it sat for 24 hours) and when I went to start it Wed. evening, the problem is back. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.
