Electrical problem
1998 Honda CRV 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

When I started my car it had a rapid clicking sound near the battery. I figured the battery was low so I had it jumped and everything started up fine. Since it was time for a new battery anyways I decided to replace it. After replacing it the car won't start. No click, no turn, and no lights on the dashboard. Headlights and interior lights still work. I've tested the battery voltage and it's fine. Could it be the starter or alternator?

I would suspect a bad starter
try and have it checked
if the engine start check the battery volts is it over 13.5 V
and if so I would say the alternator is charging
