1998 Honda CRV

Normally, the RPM registers at 800. When the gas pedal is pressed then released, RPM dips below 500 before it goes back to 800. Also, when you're running at let's say 2000RPM and slow down the RPM quickly goes down to 1000.
why is this so?

Try cleaning out the throttle body and IACV ports/valve to see if that helps.

With regards to your second issue, if it is while driving, then you may have your brakes dragging or something of that nature that is slowing down the vehicle too quickly.

Already cleaned throttle body and check IACV valves and everything, also tested the wheel rotation, brakes are not dragging. There's no change whatsoever. TIA.
