1993 Honda Civic Si -300 000km
ok, so i'm driving around the other day and everything was fine. I parked for about 2 mins and then I tried driving again but when I turned on the car the shifter (automatic) wouldn't move from park it was locked as if the car were off with no key in the ignition.I have a 93' civic so I put the key in the shifter and moved it to Neutral then started the car and drove. A little later I turn on my pointer and instead of the arrow flashing on my dashboard my interior light would go on and there would be a strange buzing sound. I then noticed that the dashboard wasn't working, speedometer gas meter Rpm all of it was just dead.
CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHATS WRONG AND HOW TO FIX IT?

Sounds like a right hand drive Honda. 1st check all fuses, battery connections. Check the ground from the battery to the engine and check the ground from the engine to the car body.

When the Honda was first designed they used to give a book that told what happened when a fuse blew. Some of the things you described fit that profile. Like the interior light issue.
