I thought I saw some coolant leaks around the heater hose on my 98 honda civic Lx 170,000 so I change a new hose. Still seeing trace of coolant around the area. Could that be that sensor under the distributor which has one wire hooks up to it or the one next to it gone bad that leaks
coolant out. I think it's the one with one wire. What is this sensor anyway? Can this cause my hard to start problem in the morning issue like
I stated from my last "ask a Question"? Any answer will be helpful. Thanks so much!

That is a temp sensor and they can fail as you mention. That sensor sends a signal to the computer and it CAN be as you mention a cause for poor starting.
