How do i fix my speedometer and odometer?
I have a 94' honda civic EX and i just received it as a gift from my brother, when he bought the car, the speedometer and odometer didnt work and he never repaired them. I on the other hand, actually wanna kno how many miles im putting into the car and how fast im going. i've asked in several forums and havent gotten an answer. Can anyone please help me?

If the tach works the speedometer itself is bad. You can get a used one pretty cheap from the online junk yards. I have purchased them for as little as $15.

Go to auto zone and pick up a VSS. Vehicle speed sensor. it is a common problem with F series engines. If the speedo only works once in a while, or flickers, That is the problem. It is a painless fix.
