Car: 2000 Honda Civic EX. Automatic. 133500 miles (soon to be 140,000 miles after a trip). Engine is.1.6 liter, is what the Internet says.

History: Purchased used 10/04 with 70K on it; used a lot for an old job, but no longer drive more than 15K a year. Breaks changed in early 2005. Last major maintenance was in early 2006: 120K service, timing belt, water pump, other belts. New tires 2/2006. Oil change every 2000-3000 miles. No existing issues; runs perfectly as far as I can tell.

Question 1: What is the next big maintenance? All resources I've found drop off at the 120K mile mark. Every 30K miles from now on? More often? Is there written resource?

Question 2: I want to purchase an extended warranty for another 3-4 years. What are the main points that I need protected at this point in my car's life? The "powertrain" policies? Is that essential, or will a piece meal policy do? Please advise.

Quesiton 3: I am about to take off on a 4K mile round trip road trip. Which one of the 40-point-smoething or 80-point or 120-point inspections shoudl I have before I take off?

Thank you. I have submitted a $5 donation.

Go for the 30K's interval, Powertrain, and have all the fluid level check, Drive belts retensioned, Alternator/Battery, Brakes this will do. While on the road when in doubt pull over and check. Pay attention to all the idiot lights in front you when it pops up, investigate immediately don't wait too long
