I have a 1994 Honda Civic and everytime I turn the wheel all the way to the left or to the right , I hear a clicking noise. I'm told it could be the CV joint; What should I do? how long can I go with the car like this before it breaks down? and how much would it cost to fix?

Thanks

Very well could be the cv joint going bad. You should stick your nose under the car and take a look for a torn boot (as indicated by arrows).

There isn't much time left on it if it's clicking. It may get more expensive if you wait any longer as you may get charged for a damaged core in addition to replacement. Your best bet is a remanufactured axle. When it breaks because you waited too long, also anticipate a tow charge and inconvenience. You should be able to get a remanfuctured one installed for about $225-275.
