The AC pressure sensor is located on right side of engine compartment near the front of the engine. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

2000 Honda Civic DX 1.6 with 101,000 Miles. Had a problem with the a/c clutch continuously making a ticking sound at idle. As I rolled into the service center the mechanic immediately told me to shut off the A/C because he said the compressor was about to seize. I replaced the compressor with a brand new one, as well as the drier, o-rings and oil, and evacuated the system. And I still have the same problem at idle? The cars performance when this happens is horrible. I know it's possible but very hard for me to believe that two different compressors one being brand new would have the same problem. Could this be an inline pressure switch problem and if so could you tell me how to locate it? Thanks alot. This site is great by the way thanks for making it possible.

Is the a/c getting cold? Did it do yhis right after he put the new compressor in or a few weeks latter. It could be a pressure switch but it might not. The unly real way to figure it out is run it with a set of gauges attached and watch when and at what pressures the compressor is cycling at. To determine if it the pressure switch or something else.

Yes the A/C does get cold, however when the recirculation button in pushed in it seems to get colder. Yes this problem did occur immediately after installing the new compressor. And obviously when the clutch starts clicking continuously, if you hit the A/C button to the off position the clilcking does stop. I hope this is enough information. Thank You bprice443, for your assistance.
