89 Civic sunroof won't close - need temp solution!

Just bought an 89 civic to use as a winter car. I opened the sunroof today but it got stuck in the open position.

When I push the 'close' button nothing happens (no noise, movement, etc) but when I push the 'open' button is makes noise. From my limited car knowledge I'd say the closing motor is broken.

Is there a temporary solution (besides a tarp!) So that I can just have it closed until I get to my mechanic?
