Yesterday, my car was leaking water underneath the front seats and dripping down to the floor. This is the first time I see this happens to my car.Is there a correlation of having the A/C on and the leak of my car?

I have just checked if honda has put out any TSB's on this matter, and they have not.

So it may be that your a/c drain is clogged. This drain will be located on your lower firewall in the engine compartment.

However, this should still be covered under warranty on a 2009, go back to the dealer.

Being a 09, I would 99% guarantee that it is disconnected from the evaporator ! Don't let them give you any "Fish" stories, it has not had time to clog, unless something got into it during assy. . Keep in mind, now there is water under your floor carpet & you will end up w/moldy-mildew smell if it is not tended to !

Thanks but naww I dont think is a big deal. It was a small amount of water, and I saw it right on the floor after I had turn off the engine when I went to get something out of the car. That day I had my a/c on.

All this time I have meant to say, the water was right there on the street right underneath the front seats of my car. Im assuming it was coming out of my car 'cause that day wasnt a rainy day. I touched the liquid with my finger and smelled it, and it was odorless. And like I just said, it was an insignificant small amout of water.

O.K. , thats good. You could hook up the hose yourself. It's under the dash, right side as you know, torwards the center. There is a nipple on the evap. assy., just hook the hose back onto it. It is normal to see the water under the car when running A/C, it is a condensation drain. Take care.

So do you think it unplugged by itself? I've had my car for less than a month. Brand new. I will try to locate the hose and put it back together as you have adviced me. Thanks!

You mentioned that the A/C hose is under the dashboard, but is it inside the car or outside the car? Thanks a lot for all your help!
